Krann gasifiers are ideally suited for steam or hot-water boiler applications. Due to the low particulate count, there is substantially less ash deposit on the heat transfer surfaces.  Also, the wear on boiler tubes caused by abrasive ash is reduced. The gasifier turn down ratio can be as low as 10% in addition to a very fast response time, which is important for some heating processes.  The gasifier can tolerate fuel delivery interruptions without disrupting the output. The system is fully automated from fuel storage to the flue gas exhaust and is equipped with the continuous ash removal system.  The ashes are conveyed to a container located outside of the boiler building.
